ABOUT ME
Hi, I’m Hank. I studied Economics at UT Austin and have worked in both tech and finance as a business analyst.
I enjoy working with data, solving problems, and thinking clearly about decisions — whether in work or in life. Over time, I’ve also grown interested in how we learn, improve, and build long-term direction.
This site is where I share some of those thoughts. Thanks for stopping by.

Education
I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Analytics at Carnegie Mellon University, expected to graduate in 2026.
Before that, I studied Economics at the University of Texas at Austin, where I focused on data analysis, business strategy, and decision-making. I also spent two years at the University of Washington, Tacoma, where I built a strong academic foundation and developed my early interest in how people and systems interact.
Experience
I’ve worked in both tech and finance, most recently as a business analyst intern at an AI startup in San Francisco. There, I used SQL and Python to analyze user data and helped improve product performance and reporting.
I also interned at an investment bank, where I supported IPO preparation and financial analysis, and earlier worked in the pharmaceutical industry doing data research and dashboard design.
Across all these roles, I’ve focused on turning complex information into clear insights—and using data to support better decisions.
